WebAssure Notification Information

When WebAssure has detected a real problem with your web site, it scans the list of notification targets you have created for each URL and sends a message to each one. The message contains information to alert you to the nature of the problem so that you may determine the cause and rectify it. When the problem has cleared, and your site is accessible again, WebAssure will notify you once more as a confirmation of your successful repair efforts.

Of course, you may use WebAssure's web-based configuration system to list several SMS phones or e-mail addresses for each URL so that the appropriate people will be made aware of the problem, night or day.

E-mail Notifications

E-mail messages contain details of the URL in question, the time of the problem, and a descriptive error message.

E-mail is the most versatile notification method as it can be used to send messages to other devices, such as wireless phones, alpha-numeric pagers, etc. For instance: To send a notification to your phone you might use an e-mail address of your-phone-number@cell-phone-co.com. Contact your cell phone company for the email address of your phone.

SMS Notifications

Notifications by SMS text message contain a brief description of the problem and the affected URL.
